The Madeira School presents alumnae awards each year during Reunion Weekend.
The Alumna Achievement Award
The Alumna Achievement Award recognizes an alumna whose vision, perseverance, determination and accomplishments have made significant contributions to a professional, educational or civic field. This award was established in 1991. Past recipients of the Alumna Achievement Award can be found here.
The Young Alumna Achievement Award
Madeira’s Young Alumna Award recognizes a young alumna* who embodies Lucy Madeira’s courage, vision and self-confidence. An alumna with exemplary accomplishments toward her professional, educational or civic fields of interest. This is a newly established award, created in 2014.
*A young alumna is defined as a Madeira student who has graduated within the last fifteen years.
Louise Wheelock Willson '48 Award
Through the Louise Wheelock Willson '48 Outstanding Volunteer Award the school recognizes Madeira volunteers whose record of service has made a valuable contribution to the school. This award was created in honor of Louise Wheelock Willson '48 in 1998.
