Science

Science

The Science Department stresses that the study of science is a vital step in the development of intellectual curiosity and analytical thinking. Through course work, students learn to see science as a process as well as a body of knowledge about both the living and physical world. It is the philosophy of the Science Department that students need to be exposed to each of the three sciences: biology, chemistry, and physics.

Students are required to take two years of science (on campus) for graduation. We recommend that students take a minimum of three years as suggested above.
